Veterinary Technician Position

Job Duties

• Engage and communicate with clients
• Be your patient’s advocate and ensure the best care and comfort is provided
• Assist with patient exams, surgery, radiology, and emergency treatments
• Perform laboratory tests to assist in diagnosis and treatment
• Administer anesthetics and sedatives under direction of a veterinarian
• Manage patient information with our veterinary software system?

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician preferred
• If not an LVT, at least 1-year experience as a Veterinary Technician required
• Ability to work weekends (including some Sundays) on a rotational basis
• Highly motivated, with a desire to go above and beyond in customer care
• Commitment to learn and grow
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
